Our promise, in one line
We treat your information the way we would want ours treated. What you send us is used only to do the job you hired us for. It is kept private and confidential, it is never sold or rented, and it is deleted when you ask. That is the whole idea, and everything below just explains how we keep that promise.
ATC Career Prep ("we," "us," or "our") provides study products and resume services for people pursuing an air traffic controller career. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. By using our website or services, you agree to this policy.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you contact us, place an order, or submit the resume intake form, you may share:
- Your name, email address, and phone number.
- The service or product you want, and the job announcement you are targeting.
- Documents you choose to upload, such as your resume, work history, or draft statements.
- Notes and messages you send us about your goals or situation.
You decide what to share. You never have to send more than the service needs.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we may collect basic technical data such as your browser type, general location, and pages visited, using standard tools that help the site run and help us understand what is useful. We keep this to a minimum and do not use it to build a personal profile of you.
Payment information
Payments are processed by a trusted third-party payment provider through a secure checkout. We never see, handle, or store your full card number. That information goes directly to the payment processor, not to us.
How we use your information
We use what you give us only to:
- Deliver the product or service you asked for.
- Write, review, or return your resume, KSAs, or cover letter.
- Reply to your questions and keep you updated on your order.
- Process your payment and, if needed, your refund.
- Keep the website working and improve it.
We do not use your documents or personal details for advertising, and we do not send you marketing you did not ask for.
We never sell or share your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, ever. We do not share it for anyone else's marketing. The only time your information reaches a third party is when it is strictly necessary to deliver what you paid for, and only the minimum needed, for example:
- Our payment processor, to complete your transaction.
- Trusted service providers that help us operate the site or send order emails, who are bound to protect your data and use it only for that purpose.
- When the law requires it, such as a valid legal request.
That is the complete list. Your resume does not get passed around, and your email does not end up on a list you did not sign up for.
How we protect your information
Your resume and documents are the most personal thing you hand us, and we guard them accordingly. Access is limited to the people actually working on your order, files are transmitted over encrypted connections, and we keep them only as long as needed to finish the work.
- Uploads and form submissions travel over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
- Access to your files is limited to team members working on your request.
- We do not keep your documents longer than we need to. See retention below.
- We never store your card details; the payment processor handles those.
No method of storing or sending data online is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable, up-to-date steps to protect your information and we treat it as confidential.
How long we keep it, and deleting your data
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide your service, handle any refund window, and meet basic record-keeping needs. After that, we remove it.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time. Email atc@atsatestprep.com and we will remove your resume, documents, and personal details from our active files and confirm when it is done.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to make the site function and to understand general usage. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some conveniences may change. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites for advertising.
Your rights and choices
You can:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Ask us to stop contacting you.
To do any of these, email atc@atsatestprep.com. We will respond promptly and will not charge you for a reasonable request.
Children's privacy
Our services are for adults pursuing a career and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Meaningful changes will be clearly noted. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the current version.
